The Five O's fell to 3-4 in the Tri County Night League after falling to Slinger 7-0 on Wednesday night. Slinger got on the board in the top of the first when starter Tim Schlosser walked the lead off hitter who came around to score on a fielders choice two batters later. They added 3 more in the top of the 3rd on 4 hits including a home run. They scored one more in the 4th and 2 more in the 6th to complete the 7-0 shutout. Coming out of retirement was Sean Smith who pitched the 9th and struck out two.
Tim Schlosser took the loss for Oconomowoc going 8 innings, giving up 7 runs on 9 hits with 10 strike outs, 4 walks and 1 hit batter. At the plate Mike Barker led the O's with a 2 for 4 day including a double.
The loss puts Oconomowoc at 3-4 in the Tri County Night League. Their next game is the second round of SWABA this Friday in Juneau against Butler before getting back to LOL action with a huge game against Brookfield on Saturday at noon.
