Rhoads, Nelson and Fischer Help Slaughter North in All Star Game

After giving up one run in the top of the 1st to the All Stars from the LOL North, the Western Division All Stars began a beat down that lasted all afternoon. Jason Rutz from the Brookfield Bulldogs led off by getting hit by a pitch and then five of the next six batters singled in what would be a four run inning where the West batted around. They batted around in two other innings before the 20-2 drubbing was over. Jeff Rhoads started at second base and went 2 for 3 with a walk. Derek Nelson started at first base and went 1 for 4. Finally, Chris Fischer threw a scoreless 9th inning allowing one hit and one walk.
The Five O's next matchup is in the Tri County Night League when they take on Slinger in Watertown. They then return to LOL action with a game at Brookfield (Bulldogs) on Saturday at 2:00 pm and at Merton on Sunday at 1:00 pm.
