The Five Os bats were silenced on Sunday by West Bend starter Bryant Bullock who threw a 4 hit, complete game shut out. An RBI single by Mark Hall in the 2nd and a solo home run by Mike Mueller in the 6th were all The West Bend 7-Up needed to had Oconomowoc it's second LOL loss this year. Bullock struck out six and walked three in the victory. Oconomowoc had it's opportunities in the game. In five of the nine innings they were able to put a guy on base with one or no outs but were never able to get the key hit. Luke Nelson threw a sensational game in taking the hard loss. Luke struck out 12 West Bend batters and walked just two. Oconomowoc's 4 hits came from Josh Bouche, Mike Bolson, Bob Bolson and Jeff Rhoads. The loss puts Oconomowoc at 4-2 in the LOL West, currently in 5th place. They have a busy weekend next week with a Tri County game on Friday at Mayville (7:30 pm), the first round of SWABA on Saturday at Clyman (2:00 pm) and LOL action hosting The Brookfield Bulldogs on Sunday (1:00 pm).
