The Five O's opened the 4th of July weekend with an 11-3 win over Hartland. Mike Bolson took the hill for Oconomowoc and got early run support when Oconomowoc scored 1 in the first and 3 in the second to take a 4-0 lead. Jeff Rhoads singled with one in the first and was brought home on a ground out by Josh Bouche. In the second inning Steve Rhoads and Josh Fenzl led off with two singles and scored on two more singles by Luke Nelson and Jeff Rhoads after being bunted over my Mike Eppler. Hartland made it interesting when they scored 3 runs in the top of the 3rd to make it 4-3 but Oconomowoc did not let the drama last long when they scored in every inning from the 4th on to seal the 11-3 win. Mike Bolson threw the complete game win going 9 innings allowing 3 runs on 4 hits with 5 walks and 5 strike outs. Steve Lopez took the loss for Hartland. At the plate Oconomowoc was led by Luke Nelson, Jeff Rhoads and Steve Rhoads who had 3 hits each. Steve Rhoads had 3 RBIs and Josh Bouche had 2.
