Oconomowoc Five Os

The Five O's took on Neosho in Tri County action on Friday night and fell to the Rockets 5-3. Neosho scored two in the bottom of the 1st and never gave up the lead. Oconomowoc made the score 2-1 in the top of the 2nd off a solo home run from Jeff Rhoads. Neosho extended their lead to 4-1 with two more runs in the bottom of the 5th. In the top of the 6th Oconomowoc added another run off a sac fly from Jeff Rhoads and scored their other run in the top of the 8th on a double by KC Pinsonault.
KC Pinsonault went the distance for Oconomowoc pitching eight innings allowing five runs (four earned) on eight hits while walking two and striking out eight. Steve Rhoads and Josh Bouche each had two hits in the losing effort.
The loss puts Oconomowoc at 3-4 in the Tri County Night League.
