5/28/05 Andy Neary tossed a one hitter and the Five Os hitting attack continued to roll as Oconomowoc defeated the Pewaukee Muskies 20-0 in a seven inning run rule at Roosevelt Park on Saturday. Todd Bloedow dropped in a one out fourth inning opposite field single to right field on a outside pitch after Neary had shaken off his catcher, Sean Smith. Only three other Muskie hitters were able to reach the outfield. Neary had six strike outs and no walks in the pitching gem.
Stachowicz pitched five innings for the Muskies with 13 runs, 12 earned, on 11 hits, four walks, two hit batters and four strke outs in the loss. Dan Ryan gave up seven runs, two earned, on four hits, two walks, a hit batter and a strke out in one inning.

The Five Os defeated host Menomonee Falls 19-14 on Sunday in a battle of second place teams. There were eight lead changes or ties in a
throw back game that had 34 hits and 33 runs with 13 extra base hits, which is reminescent of an aluminum bat game. The Lakers scored in the bottom of the first inning as Jack Klebsedal and Jeff Pietrof singled and scored on a two out double by Kirk Weiskirsch. The Five Os took their first lead at 3-2 in the top of the second inning with walks to Sean Smith and Pete Schlosser. Mike Mitchell doubled home Smith and Steve "Dusty" Rhoads plated P Schlosser with a ground out. Falls tied the game in the bottom of the second when Ryan Rassmusen reached on a error, went to second on an error on a pich off, advanced to third on a sacrifice bunt and scored on a sacrifice fly by Jeff Lueck. Oconomowoc added three runs over the next two innings as Jeff Rhoads singled, went to third on a single by Derek Nelson and scored on a single by P Schlosser in the third inning. In the fourth, Kevin Raasch lead off with a single and S Rhoads walked. Raasch scored on a single by Tim Schlosser and S Rhoads scored on a ground out by J Rhoads. The Lakers took a 7-6 lead with four runs in the bottom of the fifth as Jason Mayer doubled, Klebsedal walked, and Jeff Pietrof reached on an error. Max Whitlin reached on an error Weisman that scored Mayer and Klebsedal. Rassmusen singled home Pietrof. The Five Os took an 8-7 lead as S Rhoads doubled. Pinch runner Dan Schlosser scored on a sacrifice fly by Clint Smothers. T Schlosser singled and scored on a double by Nelson. Menomonee Falls took a 11-7 lead in the bottom of the sixth as the first four batters got base hits and scored. Lueck and Mayer singled, Klebedal had an RBI double and Pietrof had a two run double. Pietrof scored on an RBI single by Weiskirch. Kirk Ressler relieved Rob Becker. In the top of the seventh, Mitchell and Raasch singled and scored on a double by S Rhoads and sacrifice fly by Smothers. The Five Os took a 13-11 lead in the top of the eighth with three runs as J Rhoads doubled, Smith was hit by a pitch and P Schlosser hit a three run home run. Whitlin hit a home run in the bottom of the eighth to close the lead to 13-12 which ended the day for Ressler. Derek walked the bases loaded but got out of the inning. The Five Os scored six runs in the top of the ninth on three hits, two walks and two errors. S Rhoads walked and was sacrificed to second by Smothers. T Schlosser reached on a error. J Rhoads was intentionally walked to laod the bases. D Nelson drove all three home on a double down the right field line. Smith singled home Nelson, Mitchell walked, Raasch singled home Smith and an error scored Mitchell. The Lakers went down with a fight in the bottom of the ninth as Pietrof walked and scored on a home run by Weiskirch.
Lakers starting pitcher Matt Christman pitched 3 1/3 innings giving up six runs on seven hits, three walks and four strike outs. Losing
pitcher Lueck ptiched five 2/3 innings on 13 hits, ten earned, on 12 hits, three walks and a hit batter. Five Os Rob Becker went five innings on 11 runs, six earned, on 12 hits, two walks and two strike outs. Winning pitcher Ressler went two and one third innings with a run on two hits, two walks and two strike outs. Nelson got the save with 1 2/3 innings with two runs, one hit, four walks and a strike out.
Hartland is in first place in the LOL at 6-0. The Five Os and Lannon are in second at 5-1. Oconomowoc plays at Hartland on Sunday for first
place. The Five Os play Rubicon at Watertown Friday night at 7:30 PM in the Tri County Nite League.
