Despite a grand slam and 5 RBI performance by Steve Rhoads, Horicon handed Oconomowoc it's first Tri County loss of the season on Wednesday night. Oconomowoc had a 5-4 lead going into the bottom of the 8th inning before Horicon piled 7 runs on the Five Os. Leading Oconomowoc at the plate were Steve Rhoads, Mike Eppler and Tim Schlosser with 2 hits each. Steve Rhoads had a grand slam, scored two runs and had 5 RBIs in the loss. Taking the loss for Oconomowoc on this hill was Kirk Ressler who went the distance giving up 9 earned runs, walking 7 and striking out 9.
The Five Os next game in Sunday against Brookfield in LOL action. Game time is 1:00 pm at Rooseveltlt Field in Oconomowoc.
