Oconomowoc Five Os

Mike Bolson and Luke Nelson combined for a Bob Bolson-esk pitching performance mowing down a total of 20 North Lake batters via the strike out on Sunday. They held North Lake to three hits in the 13-3 win over the Lakers. Mike Bolson started on the hill and went 5 solid innings picking up the win while giving up 1 unearned run, 1 hit, 2 walks and striking out 11, including a 4 strike out inning. Luke picked up where Bolson left off and went 4 innings striking out 9 while giving up 2 runs on 2 hits.
The Five Os bats also had a great day picking up 20 hits and 6 extra base hits. Leading the way was Jeff Rhoads who was 6 for 6 with 3 runs scored, 3 doubles, a home run and 4 RBIs. Luke Nelson and Steve Rhoads notched 3 hits each while Derek Nelson, Mike Mitchell and Josh Fenzl had 2 hits each.
The win puts Oconomowoc at 3-0 in the LOL West and 5-1 overall. They have a huge Memorial Day weekend with home games against Lannon on Saturday (2:00 pm) and Menomonee Falls on Sunday (1:00 pm).
