After being knocked out of the Tri County playoffs by them last year, Oconomowoc dished out some revenge for Pardeeville on Friday night. The Os pounded out 20 hits in a 11-2 drubbing of the Braves. Scoring started in the 2nd inning for Oconomowoc when Josh Fenzl hit his first home run of the year. Oconomowoc added 3 more runs in the 5th inning when the first three hitters singled and they eventually batted around. Insurance runs were tacked on in the 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th innings as well. Leading Oconomowoc's hot hitters was Josh Fenzl who was 4 for 6 with a home run and 3 RBIs. Bob Bolson, Jeff Rhoads and Derek Nelson all had 3 hit apiece.
Earning the win for Oconomowoc was Matt Schref who threw another solid game. He went 7 innings, gave up 1 earned run and 5 hits, struck out 6 and walked 2. Shawn Tremaine then came in to throw the final 2 innings giving up 0 runs, 3 hits and striking out 1. Taking the loss for Pardeeville was Kraemer.
The win puts Oconomowoc at 5-1 in the Tri County Night League and 12-2 overall. Their next matchup is Sunday against North Lake in LOL action. Game time is 1:00 pm at Roosevelt Field in Oconomowoc.
