Becker/Tremaine combine for 4 hit shutout over Juneau
Rob Becker and Shawn Tremaine led Oconomowoc with a combined 4 hit shutout over Juneau in Tri County action on Wednesday night.
The win puts Oconomowoc at 4-0 overall and 2-0 in the Tri County Nite League. Rob Becker threw the first 5 innings giving up 3 hits, walking 2 and striking out 4. Shawn then came in for the 6th innings and only allowed one hit the rest of the game and gave up no walks. At the plate Oconomowoc was led by Jeff Rhoads who was 2 for 2 including a solo home run while Derek Nelson also added a 3 run blast.
Oconomowoc has a big Land O Lakes Memorial Day weekend coming up with Sussex on Saturday and undefeated Hartland on Sunday. Both games are away and begin at 1:00 pm.
