After giving up two runs and stranding six runners in the first two innings, Horicon starting pitcher Greg Reik settled down and gave up only two unearned runs in the next five innings for the win. Reik gave up four runs, two earned, on seven hits, four walks and three strike outs. Reliever Corey Tjader allowed two runs on three hits and two strike outs in the last two innings for the save. Horicon's Matt Dennis, who scored four runs, was 2 for 3 with two doubles and an rbi. Burns and Firehammer also had two hits. Derek Nelson was 3 for 5 for Oconomowoc. Steve Rhoads had two RBI's. Shawn Tremaine was again victimized by shoddy defense. Tremaine gave up 12 runs, three earned, on nine hits, four walks and six strike outs in eight innings.
Horicon finished the Tri County Nite League season at 2-8. Oconomowoc is 4-5.
