Oconomowoc Five Os

The Five Os dropped another Tri County game on Friday night in Hustisford 9-2 to fall to 1-4 in the Tri County Night League. Digger started on the mound for the Os and the Astros bats got to him for 1 run on 2 hits in the 1st and 5 runs on 4 hits in the 4th. Steve Rhoads came in relief from the 4th to the 7th and gave up 3 runs on 6 hits. Tim Schlosser threw the final 2 scoreless innings. Oconomowoc got one of their runs in the top of the 4th when Mike Mitchell singled and reached second on an error. He tagged up to third on a fly ball from Shawn Tremaine and then scored on a sac fly from Mike Eppler. Their other run came in the top of the 8th on back to back errors by the second baseman.
At the plate Oconomowoc spread out it's 7 hits to 7 different players. Shawn Tremaine and Josh Bouche each had a double. Taking the loss for Oconomowoc was Digger.
Oconomowoc gets back in LOL action on Sunday when they host North Lake. Game time is 1:00 pm.
