The Five Os traveled up to Pardeeville Friday night and were handed a 10-6 loss courtesy of the Braves. The Braves took an early lead when they got 2 runs of starter Derek Nelson in the bottom of the first. Oconomowoc got one run back in the top of the 3rd before the Braves added 2 unearned runs to make the score 4-1. The Five Os battled back and tied the game in the top of the 5th when Mike Barker his first career home run as a Five O. It was a 3-run shot to left. Pardeeville answered again with 4 runs in the bottom half of the inning to make the score 8-4. Oconomowoc got 2 more in the top of the 6th when Jeff Rhoads his a 2-run blast to left but this would be the end of the scoring for Oconomowoc. Pardeeville added 2 in the bottom of the 8th to cement the win.
At the plate Oconomowoc was led by Jeff Rhoads who was 3 for 5 with a double, home run and 2 RBIs and Rock River All-Star Shawn Tremaine who was 3 for 5 with a double. Taking the loss for Oconomowoc was Derek Nelson and earning the complete game win for Pardeeville was Wes Kraemer.
The Five Os get back to LOL play on Sunday with a game at Hartland at 1:00 pm.
