Oconomowoc improved to 4-0 in the LOL West after defeating West Bend 7-6 in LOL action on Sunday. After an explosive start, the bats settled down and proved to be nail biter. The lead did not last long when West Bend answered with 4 runs in the bottom of the first off starter Rob Becker with 3 hits and 2 walks. Both teams then settled down and the Five Os then regained the lead with 2 runs in the top of the 4th. With two outs, Tyler Zimmer singled and moved to second on a walk to Luke Nelson. Jeff Rhoads then singled in Tyler and Luke scored on a throwing error by West Bend. The Five Os added 2 more much needed insurance runs in the top of the 7th after hits by Jeff Rhoads, Mike Mitchell and Steve Rhoads.
